In March 2024, Nairobi was once again the vibrant hub of creativity and innovation as the 9th Edition of Nairobi Design Week took place at Opportunity Factory. Under the theme 'We Got This', the festival showcased the incredible talent of Kenyan artisans and makers while providing a platform for global collaboration and inspiration.
This year's theme 'We Got This' captured imaginations, sparking discussions and interpretations that celebrated the resilience and creativity of individuals and communities. With over 185 applications received through our open calls, the festival showcased the diversity and depth of talent present in Kenya and beyond.
Visitors to the festival were treated to a myriad of experiences, including exhibits, a marketplace, talks, and workshops.
We also partnered with Nikon Kenya to test their Nikon Z 7II with NIKKOR Z 24-70mm f/4 lens and Nikon Z 6II with NIKKOR Z 50mm f/1.8 lens as novice photographers we had fun in capturing the event.
