We believe human experience is the future of design with exciting new possibilities opening up in a rapidly changing world. The theme also speaks to how design has an amazing capacity to help create sustainable, resilient and healthy communities. It honours bold ideas, transformative spaces, and standout creativity shaping the future of design in Nairobi and beyond.
One event, four unique venues
Following in the previous years' tradition, the city of Nairobi will host a variety of exhibitions, hands-on workshops and insightful panel discussions throughout the week. What makes NDW 2026 truly stand out is its diverse venues, each offering a unique atmosphere. The 11th edition of the Nairobi Design Week will be held at four venues namely Visit Ngara, Diba Studios, Alliance Française and the German Cultural Institute in Nairobi (Goethe-Institut Nairobi).
