KnownAfrique launched their flagship product, the Law App. This presents exciting features such as the Law Kit, which is a simplified reference guide for Kenyan law.

Launched at design chillout, Creatives Garage.

DESIGN CHALLENGE

A 24 hour Design Challenge to provide designers, developers, engineers, entrepreneurs, and other creatives with an opportunity to use technology to tackle design problems.

Each team was provided with a comprehensive brief which highlights these local and global limitations in Education and Transport, where they came up with tangible solutions

Workshop aimed at educating designers and those aspiring to join the fIeld the fundamentals of business and what it takes to cultivate a good business mind in design.


WOMEN IN TECH WORKSHOP & OPEN DAY

Moringa School located at Nairobi Garage (an Incubator/co-working space) run workshop on ‘Women in Technology’ to provide an insight into the world of Information Technology for women and encourage involvement in the field to contribute to development.

THE FOUDRY

PechaKucha  

PechaKucha is a network event for creatives, taking place in over 800 cities all over the world. The mission is to inspire, uplift and entertain different audiences. The concept is simple,

each creative gets to show 20 pictures, talking about each image for 20 seconds.

The pictures advance automatically and allow the presenter to talk along the pictures. This is a way of sharing ideas, thoughts, work, or pretty much anything.

Five selected creatives who have prepared pictures specifically for this event, shared their ideas and their work with the audience.
